So you've hosted your website on Azure, made an instance of Azure SQL service, and now you want to use it in your website ars the database server, but can't do that because the firewall is blocking you from gaining access. What will you do? Maybe uproot your hair and tell yourself why on earth you've migrated to Azure. At least I did, hahaha.
The scenario gonna be just like that unless you know how to whitelist your app service. In this article, I'm gonna show you the step-by-step process. I'm very excited because I just got rid of the situation and the solution was super easy.
Go to your database page > Set Server Firewall > Allow Azure services and resources to access this server > Save
And voila, it's that simple.
Happy Coding.
